Phone stacking at #ECEU brainstorm on Flickr.

Great exercise during the #ECEU brainstorm.

During lunch stack all the phones on the middle of the table to prevent distraction from phone use. The person that first touches his/her phone has to pay for lunch (or the drinks after lunch).

Each participant tracked the amount of times they reached for their “phantom” phone and after lunch this is briefly reviewed.

Very entertaining and educational indeed + stimulates
It’s amazing how this makes you aware of our new neurosis of connectivity and how it interferes our meals.

Can recommend anyone to try this.

Instigated and Inspired by Gerrit Heijkoop during #ECEU brainstorm at Amsterdam RAI on March 2, 2012.
